Video Viewing and Rating

Question: The video does not play, I only see a blank video screen.
Answer: Double click the video screen, or click the play button on the bottom left of the screen. To also download the latest flash player, please click here.

Question: The video keeps stopping and starting.
Answer: This is caused by buffering because you have a low connection speed. Click on the pause button and allow the video to download then click play.

Question: How can I download flash player to watch the videos?
Answer: Follow this link and download your FREE copy of Adobe Flash Player. If you need more help or you want us to upload your video for you, contact support on the email below.

Question: What does the video rating represent?
Answer: A video's rating represents the average of all ratings it has been given by users since it was uploaded.

Question: I'm unable to rate videos. How do I fix this?
Answer: You'll need to be logged in to your account and have a confirmed email address to rate videos.

Video Uploading

Question: I uploaded my video but cannot see it on the site.
Answer: It takes between 24 to 48 hours from the time you uploaded for your video to be approved to appear on the site. If your video has not appeared within 48 hours, then PRmixTV has deemed it inappropriate to be viewed. Please see our Terms of Use for further details.

Question: What video file formats can I upload?
Answer: PRmixTV accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file formats.

Question: How long will my video take to upload?
Answer: Depending on your connection speed and the size of the video, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to upload a video. Generally, if you have a high-speed Internet connection you can expect the upload to take somewhere between 1-5 minutes for every 1MB. However, the experience is different for every user because of the variation in connection speeds.

Question: How long are my videos available on PRmixTV?
Answer: Videos stay on PRmixTV until the members who uploaded them choose to take them down. Videos which violate the Terms of Use may be taken down by PRmixTV.

Account Information

Question: I forgot my username or password. How do I log back into the site?
Answer: If you forgot your username or password, click here, enter your email address and we will email you your username and password.

Question: How do I change my password?
Answer: Log in with your user name and current password. Click on the "Update My Profile" link underneath the "My Profile" bar. Enter your new password, retype the same password and hit the "Update Profile" button found at the bottom of the page.

Question: How do I change the email address tied to my PRmixTV username?
Answer: Log in with your user name and current password. Click on the "Update My Profile" link underneath the "My Pro file" bar. Enter your new email address and hit the "Update Profile" button found at the bottom of the page.

Question: How do I change my PRmixTV username?
Answer: Currently, you cannot change your user name. You may, however, sign up for a new account with the username that you desire.
